These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Prestige Cheshire Detailing (“we”, “our”, “us”). By booking any service with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Bookings
1.1 All bookings are subject to availability.
1.2 A booking is only confirmed once agreed by Prestige Cheshire Detailing via phone, email, social media or other communication methods.
1.3 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking at our discretion.
2. Vehicle Condition
2.1 Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding the condition of their vehicle.
2.2 Excessively dirty vehicles, pet hair, mould, bodily fluids, excessive staining or other unusual conditions may incur additional charges.
2.3 Any additional charges will be discussed with the customer before work proceeds wherever possible.
3. Access Requirements
3.1 For mobile services, customers must provide safe and suitable access to the vehicle.
3.2 If water or electricity is required, this must be available unless otherwise agreed.
3.3 If we arrive and are unable to complete the service due to access restrictions, a call-out fee may be charged.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
4.1 We request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
4.2 Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation charge.
4.3 We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather conditions, equipment failure, illness, or circumstances beyond our control. Mobile detailing services are particularly weather-dependent.
5. Ceramic Coatings & Paint Correction
5.1 Ceramic coating durability and performance depend on ongoing maintenance and vehicle care.
5.2 Any coating lifespan stated is based on manufacturer guidance and proper maintenance.
5.3 Paint correction significantly improves paintwork appearance but cannot guarantee the removal of all defects.
5.4 Some defects, including deep scratches, stone chips, etching, previous poor repairs or repainting work, may remain visible after treatment.
6. Customer Responsibilities
6.1 Customers should remove all personal belongings and valuables from the vehicle before the appointment.
6.2 We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal items left inside the vehicle.
6.3 Customers must disclose any known faults, damaged trim, loose fittings, faulty electronics or sensitive surfaces before work begins.
7. Liability
7.1 We take every reasonable precaution when working on vehicles.
7.2 While every effort is made to avoid damage, Prestige Cheshire Detailing shall not be liable for:
- Existing defects or damage.
- Mechanical or electrical failures.
- Pre-existing paintwork issues.
- Damage resulting from poor previous repairs.
- Damage caused by hidden defects.
7.3 Customers are advised to inspect their vehicle upon completion of the service.
7.4 Any concerns regarding the completed work must be reported within 24 hours.
8. Payment
8.1 Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.
8.2 We reserve the right to request a deposit for larger bookings or specialist services.
8.3 Deposits may be non-refundable if the customer cancels without sufficient notice.
9. Photographs
9.1 We may take before-and-after photographs of vehicles for quality control, marketing and social media purposes.
9.2 Vehicle registration numbers and personal information will be obscured where appropriate.
9.3 If you do not wish photographs to be used, please inform us before your appointment.
10. Weather Conditions
10.1 Mobile detailing services are subject to suitable weather conditions.
10.2 We reserve the right to postpone appointments where weather conditions could affect service quality or safety.
11. Satisfaction Guarantee
11.1 Customer satisfaction is important to us.
11.2 If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service, please contact us within 24 hours and we will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue.
11.3 Refunds are offered solely at our discretion.
12. Privacy
12.1 Any personal information provided will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12.2 We do not sell or share customer information with third parties except where required by law.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
